Development Director
We are currently seeking a Development Director. The development director's main responsibility is to coordinate efforts to increase the centre’s funding base and to adhere to a strategic plan to procure funds while promoting the centre’s mission and programs.
Responsibilities include:
Finding Funding Sources - Locating sources of funding, approaching suitable funders and soliciting major donors for campaigns and programs. Creating and administering fund-raising programs, writing and submitting grant proposals to corporations, foundations and government bodies and meeting with donors. Cold calling.
Communication – Developing and maintaining relationships with existing and potential donors via phone calls, newsletters or other publications to demonstrate financial need and show the fiscal responsibility of the organization. The development director will work closely with the Executive Director and Administrative Director as well as members of the board.
Reporting – Preparing reports for directors and members of the board, submitting evaluations of productivity and preparing presentations for future initiatives.

ABA Interventionist
We rae currently seeking a part time, fluently bilingual ABA Interventionist.
The position will require the individual to work in the child’s home and school environment, as well as in the centre. Comprehensive training and ongoing supervision will be provided by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.

Qualifications:
- DEC in Special Care Counselling or a degree in a related field required
- Experience working with pre-schoolers with disabilities
- Must be available for a minimum 12-month commitment
- Dynamic, creative, and spontaneous personality a must, while also being able to work within defined guidelines and target necessary goals
- Must be able to work independently and as a team player

Educator
We are seeking full time educators who will work in one of the following three settings: centre based, school based or home based. The candidate must be dynamic, energetic and willing to learn.
It is the educator’s job to respect and care for the child’s physical and emotional well-being.
Responsibilities include:
- The day to day growth and development of their client i.e. participating in the development of the intervention plan, proactively planning activities and goals
- Working on a one-to-one basis with child, while working as a team with the various therapists in order to integrate newly learned skills into child’s everyday activities
- Liaising with parents / caregivers
- Administrative work i.e. writing reports, filming and recording child’s progress
- Staff meeting & workshops
Qualifications:
- A minimum DEC in Special Care or Early Childhood Education is required.
- Experience in the field is an asset
