Our school offers a ratio of one teacher for each class and one educator for every 2-3 students. We also have an interdisciplinary team of therapists available to offer complementary services in addition to the curriculum of the Ministry of Education, Leisure and Sport. Group music therapy and art therapy classes are held each week for each class.

The classroom follows a schedule, much as any regular school. The students have snack time, lunchtime, recess, free play, structured activities, as well as one on one work periods. Each of the students begins the year with an individual education plan which follows them throughout the year. Each of the students has specific classroom and therapy goals which are worked on a daily basis.

A school visit can be arranged on request, contact Natasha Pigeon at 514 279-3666 ext. 228 or natashap@yaldei.org
