Sustaining a Healthy Marriage While Raising A Child with Special Needs

While all marriages face occasional challenges, those involving an exceptional child may become particularly strained as a consequence of the tremendous demands placed upon the family unit. This workshop will offer coping strategies for maintaining family balance.

Dr. Mordechai Glick, clinical psychologist, will talk about fostering healthy relationships between spouses and between parents and siblings of the child with special needs. 

Time:     7:30 pm

Place:    The Donald Berman Yaldei Developmental Centre, 2100 Marlowe, 5th floor

Cost:      $5.00 for Yaldei clients and $10.00 for non clients.

Yaldei to Host Dr. Ramon Cuevas' Medek Physiotherapy Clinic in October

Cuevas MEDEK Exercises is a proven treatment approach used to develop gross motor skills in infants and young children with motor impairment. Dr Cuevas has helped so many children that may otherwise not have walked, or has helped them walk many months or years after evrybody had already given up.
