What Is Speech Therapy?
Our speech and language therapy ensures that children develop general communication skills, including both comprehension and expression. Speech therapy teaches children the essential skills they will need to become successful communicators in a fun and engaging way.

Improved understanding (following directions, vocabulary)

Using alternative methods (such as signs or pictograms) to communicate.
Skills Acquired

Normal development with language delays, difficulty articulating, stuttering, literacy problems, etc.
Developmental delay including genetic diseases, autism spectrum disorder, cerebral palsy, global developmental delay among others.
Intervention for communication (SLPa):
In order of increasing the teaching opportunities, the interventionist will practice the objectives during several sessions a week. The interventionists are trained by the SLP to apply the speech programs. The SLP are supervising on a bi-monthly basis the program for the child and coach the interventionist to monitor the progress in the communication and make the adjustment needed.
